Cherie Cheezcake
ABOUT
Cherry Cheesecake is a burlesque dancer, vaudeville entertainer, makeup artist, hairstylist, pinup model, and much more! She currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee. She can often be seen performing with The Tennessee Vaudeville Revue. She has been performing since 2011.
"It couldn’t be more appropriate that Cherry Cheesecake, one of Tennessee Tease Burlesque’s newest dancers, will be making her debut for the Halloween show. Cherry was actually born on Halloween in Nowhere, Kansas. The epitome of Midwest sweetness and naiveté, Cherry spent her formative years as a quiet church girl, praying and reciting her catechisms. While she may represent all things good and nice, she still has a wild streak to her (as any child born on Halloween should).
Cherry’s religious parents were quite protective of their young daughter and raised her on the films and music of past popular culture, fearing that the things that passed as entertainment in the present day would only turn their young daughter over to Satan. Their plan backfired when Cherry learned of Elvis Presley’s divorce from Priscilla and hopped a Greyhound bus to Memphis, so that she could comfort him. The problem was, she did not learn of Elvis’ divorce until 2010. Cherry was stranded in Memphis with no money and nowhere to go, until she was taken under the wing of TNT Burlesque."

New Adventures.
Whoa it certainly has been some time since I last updated! If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, then you probably already know that I'm leaving Tennessee Vaudeville Revue after the upcoming show. It will be very sad to say goodbye to these people that I've shared so many wonderful memories with but I am overcome with joy for the future. There are also plans in the future to guest perform with them again so I will be sharing the stage with them in no time!
The next show with them is looking incredible so far. I'm really getting to bring out my true nerdy nature with this one. We also have some amazing guest performers as well like Autumn Coughlin Pope, Amber Lea, Faye LaVey, & Chloe du Bois! I am so honored to be sharing the stage with these badass babes! Our poster also came out really well. Things are looking awesome right about now.

Last night's show and the future.
The show last night went really well. If you follow us on Facebook then you know that we got a lot of love and support by our burlesque sisters. That is an amazing feeling. As I previously said, we are having a big show coming up. However, it will not be a Halloween show. It will be a Choose Your Own Adventure Show with a slasher running around. It will be on November 16th & 17th, 2012!

Blogging, vaudeville, and a new website.
Finally decided to make myself a website after making several other burlesque / entertainment websites and blogs. Also: It's currently 8:30am. I have not yet slept. This post is going to get goofy. Just going to preface with an apology.
Next, I'd like to give a little sneak peek on a project I'm planning. Since I have not yet gotten to experience much working with fellow dancers from other troupes, I'm planning on directing my own show next year. Bringing the party to me! I have a few ideas.. including a name for my production company. Really exciting stuff! Hopefully I can get that idea off the ground. It will not be for a long time though.
As for shows that I'm going to be in this year, the Halloween show is coming up! Last year's Halloween show was my first show ever so it's an anniversary show of sorts for me. Very terribly happy. It will be a great show.
